Cincon launch new EN50155 compliant DC-DC converters for railway applications

Cincon is launching new CHB100-110S series, 100W DC-DC converter for the railway industry. The half-brick modules operate from input voltage 66-160VDC and are available with output voltages of 12V, 15V, 24V or 48VDC. External trim adjustable range is ±10%.

CHB100-110S is designed to comply with the EN50155 standard (with external filters) and meet shock and vibration requirements. CHB100-110S is also designed to operate in harsh environments, the potted and encapsulated design provides increased system reliability through added protection from environmental factors such as dust and moisture.

CHB100-110S features input/output 3000Vrms isolation, operating case temperature from -40°C to 100°C, efficiency to 86%, remote sense, remote on/off and under voltage lockout function. Protections for over voltage, over current, short circuit and over temperature are included. Additionally, all models carry CE mark, get UL/cUL 60950-1 approved and meet EN 45545 railway fire & smoke standard.

CHB100-110S is designed primarily for railway applications and also suitable for distributed power architectures, telecommunications, battery operated equipment and industrial applications.
